We are proud to announce the April Athletes of the Month, Ms. Jenna Bowman & Mr. Bradley Ison. They were selected for their outstanding athletic performances, achievements, and leadership.
Jenna is a junior at GHS who takes College classes off campus and works full time. She is currently tied in the league with Carolyn Edmisten (4/26) for leading the team in batting averages at .511. She is also in the top three for fielding percentages. Not only does she dominate on the field but she also shines as a mentor to younger players. Jenna's leadership, real talk, and unwavering positivity make her an invaluable asset to our team. She gives great incite, and feedback and is always 100% respectful to her coaches and teammates. Jenna is a role model on and off the field!
Bradley is a junior GHS student who attends SHCTC for Sports Medicine. He currently (4/26) has a .393 batting average, a .538 on-base percentage, 7 steals, 4 doubles, and 11 hits. He also plays a stellar second base. Reliability meets charisma with Bradley. He is very well-liked by his teammates & friends. He brings energy & good vibes to the field and team. Bradley is also full of school spirit and leads the student section shenanigans during basketball season.
