Isaiah Ernst
“Buckets and Big Plays”
It’s no secret that the G-Men have had a tough season, but freshman Isaiah Ernst has been a bright spot. Earning a starting spot on varsity as a freshman, Isaiah has proven himself a standout on the court.
Transferring to Georgetown two years ago, he has been playing basketball for five years and brings his all to every game. His best performance so far? A 20-point game against Bethel-Tate, featuring two three-pointers, two free throws, and 12 points in the paint! He has also showcased his defensive skills with a steal and fast-break layup that brought the crowd to its feet.
Isaiah’s athleticism doesn’t stop at basketball. He’s a cross country team member and has plans to join the soccer team next year. On top of that, he was awarded “Best Defender” by the Ohio Coaches Association (OCA).
Livia Tracy
Livia Tracy: "Six Quarters, No problem”
Playing six quarters a night might sound exhausting, but Livia Tracy is taking it in stride. A junior varsity and varsity superstar, Livia has been breaking ankles and dropping threes—literally and figuratively—since joining the Lady G-Men this year. After graduating from St. Michael’s in Ripley, she moved just 12 miles north, and Georgetown basketball got the better of it. During a game against Blanchester, Livia lit up the scoreboard with 25 points.
“I caught the ball in the corner, nailed the three, got fouled, and made my free throw,” she said.
Plays like these make her a fan favorite and a force on the court!
Livia’s highlight reel also includes a clutch three-pointer against CNE, thanks to an assist from her cousin, junior guard Gabrielle Ernst.
Basketball isn’t her only game, either! Livia is also a varsity soccer player and plans to try out for the varsity softball team this spring. Even before high school, she was making waves, winning all four awards for her grade level during multiple summer basketball camps.
With a junior varsity team record of 8-2,
