The Georgetown Exempted Village School District Dear Georgetown Families, I hope this letter finds you well and that the year has been filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences for your child(ren). As we reach the back end of the academic year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our journey so far and to express my gratitude for your continued support and partnership in nurturing our students' development. It has been an eventful year, marked by resilience, adaptability, and the unwavering commitment of our entire school community. Despite the ongoing challenges posed by the ever-changing landscape of education, I am immensely proud of how our students, teachers, and families have come together to overcome obstacles and embrace opportunities for growth. Academically, our students have demonstrated remarkable progress and dedication to their studies. They have shown a thirst for knowledge and a willingness to engage deeply with their coursework. I commend each and every one of them for their hard work and determination. Beyond academics, our school has continued to foster a vibrant and inclusive community where students feel valued, supported, and empowered to be their authentic selves. Through extracurricular activities, community service projects, and special events, our students have had the chance to explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and forge meaningful connections with their peers. None of this would be possible without the dedication and expertise of our exceptional faculty and staff. I am continually inspired by their passion for teaching, their innovative approaches to instruction, and their unwavering commitment to the well-being of our students. Their hard work and dedication form the backbone of our school, and I am profoundly grateful for all that they do. As we look ahead to the remainder of the year, I am filled with optimism and excitement for what lies ahead. Together, we will continue to prioritize the health, safety, and academic success of our students, while also fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment that prepares them for future success. I encourage you to stay engaged and involved in your child's education, whether through volunteering, attending school events, or simply having conversations with your child about their learning experiences. Your partnership is invaluable, and together, we can ensure that every student reaches their full potential. Thank you once again for your ongoing support and commitment to our school community. I look forward to the continued success and growth of our students in the months ahead. Sincerely, Mr. Winterod

Dear Georgetown Families, We are closely watching today's weather and have become concerned with the weather that's headed our way this afternoon. In an abundance of concern for student and staff safety, we will be releasing students early today. The Jr/Sr high will release at 12:00pm and the elementary school will release at 1:00pm. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This week, elementary students engaged in Breakfast, Buddy, and a Book activities. Thanks to our Reading is Fundamental (RIF) program, students could choose a brand-new book to take home. Alongside their buddies, they enjoyed donuts and savored extra reading moments. Our RIF initiative is made achievable through the generous contributions from our PTO and the Brown County Public Library. #IgniteInspireInstill
