6th-grade students have learned to design 3D models on their Chromebooks and then convert them to printable files. As their battle bots print they begin to custom wire the wheels and design their bot weapons. Students made a short video here:

Last night's Board Meeting was full of friendly faces and exciting news! We welcomed two staff to administrative positions for the 2024-2025 school year and recognized several students for the ways they #IgniteInspireInstill in our buildings.

In anticipation of their robot wars competition in May, we continue to 3D print bots. Today, we began the assembly process. With the help of our favorite computer science students from Southern State, our 6th-grade STEM students began wiring their battle bots. They learned to solder custom cables to wire the electronics needed for the bot to move. #IgniteInspireInstill
