We have the best instructional aides around!!! They work hard every day to help our students, in and out of the classroom. From teaching intervention groups to lunch duty...they can do it all!!! We love and appreciate these amazing ladies!
Brown County Recipient of the 2021 Franklin B. Walter All Scholastic Award
This year’s recipient of the Franklin B. Walter All Scholastic Award is Olivia Waits graduate from Georgetown High School. Olivia is the daughter of Elizabeth and Chris Waits of Georgetown. Olivia is undecided which University she will attend in the fall. The Franklin B. Walter All Scholastic Award Program was established by the Ohio Educational Service Center Association to promote student achievement and to recognize outstanding students. A senior from each county within the State of Ohio was recognized on April 27, 2021 via Zoom. Along with the award, Olivia will also receive a $500.00 scholarship from the Brown County ESC.

We celebrated our school nurse, Sheila Barlow, and our health aides, Laura Hanselman and Faith Smith, at last night’s school board meeting. These ladies have gone above and beyond to help keep our students in school this year! Thank you!!
Wade and Lori Highlander, owners of Parker’s Pizzeria, were recognized by the Ohio School Board Association at last night’s school board meeting for being on the OSBA Business Honor Roll for their continued support of the school and the community. Thank you Wade and Lori!!

This is a reminder that this week our 7th (5/13) and 11th (5/14) grade students will be participating in the Ohio Healthy Youth Environments Survey. Letters were mailed home to the parents/guardians of these students in the past two weeks, providing them with the option to opt their student out of participating in this survey. These forms are due back by Wednesday, May 12th.
